It is a visual world in which we live.
My love of what I see
is expressed through photography,
capturing the interesting, the odd, the
beautiful, the awe-inspiring, and even
the cliché.
As an engineer, analyst, product
developer, and
inventor, I have an eye
for details in life,
especially those with interesting
subjects, powerful emotive moments, and
bold shapes and patterns. I use my
analytic skills behind the camera lens.
As
I enjoy landscaping, carpentry, and
outdoors activities, it is no surprise
that a majority of my work
takes place outdoors.
Sharing my view of God’s
creation in work
that is colorful,
versatile, and moving is personally
satisfying.
Experimentation, luck, and persistence
bring new looks, flattering poses, and
drama to otherwise flat scenes, and
interest to potentially mundane
subjects.
Always in search of challenges,
I have recently ventured into wedding
photography.
Seeking to capturing powerfully emotive moments for
the bride and groom to savor afterwards has been
very personally rewarding.

On an artistic note, I
shoot digital photos
and edit all photos with software. Most of the time,
edits are minor corrections in white
balance, cropping, and contrast. But
what I choose to
offer publicly is art, not
necessarily pure editorial photography
unless specifically stated.
